[API](https://help.sidos.com/api) # Arista APIs Sidos now supports Arista CUE API connectivity, allowing you to connect your Arista environment to your Sidos site workflow. Whether you are creating a new site or configuring an existing survey or planner, this guide walks you through the setup, connection configuration, and operational steps. ### **Arista CUE Key Setup** To begin, create an API key for the connection between Sidos and Arista CUE: 1\. Open the [**Arista Launchpad**](https://launchpad.wifi.arista.com/#admin/accounts/keys/) using the link below and sign in to your Arista account. https://launchpad.wifi.arista.com/#admin/accounts/keys/ 2\. Select the **Key** tab to access your API keys. 3\. Generate a **new** API key for use with Sidos. Set "**Wireless Manager"** to \*\*On\*\* to enable access to the wireless management service. 2\. Set "**Service Privileges**" to "**Administrator**" if you need to push floor plans from Sidos to Arista CUE. 3\. Review these settings, then **save** the key to apply your changes. Once the key is saved, continue with the Sidos connection setup. This workflow starts with a new site in Sidos and uses the **\*\*Import from controller\*\*** option to begin the Arista import process. The steps below walk you through selecting Arista as the vendor, creating an Arista connection, and entering the connection details. Before you begin, have the API key configured in the previous section and your Arista Base URL ready. This workflow starts with an existing survey or design task in Sidos and uses the **Controller Integration Button** next to the **View** and **Modify** options to begin the data exchange process. The steps below walk you through selecting Arista as the vendor, creating an Arista connection, and entering the connection details. Before you begin, have the API key configured in the previous section and your Arista Base URL ready. Pulling data brings information from Arista into Sidos, while pushing data sends information from Sidos to Arista, such as floor plans. Before you begin, confirm that you have completed the connection setup for your new site or existing survey or planner. Your API key must have access to the relevant Arista resources, and its **Service Privileges** must be set to **Administrator** for any operation that writes data or pushes floor plans to Arista. Note: Once configured, you can reuse your API keys and Arista connection for new Tasks in Sidos for the same sites and buildings without repeating the setup process. To transfer data for a Sidos Survey Task: 1\. Select the API connection you want to use. 2\. Turn on the \*\*Connect to this Survey\*\* slider. 3\. Choose the transfer direction: \*\*push\*\* data from Sidos to Arista or \*\*pull\*\* data from Arista into Sidos.
